Building a new home requires close synchronization between framing, roofing, and siding trades to ensure the building envelope is sealed as quickly as possible. The roofing phase — often referred to as "drying-in" — is the critical milestone that allows indoor trades (plumbing, electrical, and drywall) to begin their work. If the roof deck is left exposed to rain or snow, moisture can penetrate the plywood sheathing, leading to mold and wood swelling.

We immediately roll out synthetic underlayment and self-adhering membranes (ice and water shield) over the deck, rendering the structure waterproof. We then complete the installation of valleys, step flashings, ridge vents, and architectural shingles in compliance with Ontario building codes.
